An extraordinary overview: enter the world of Leonardo da Vinci, discover his passions and the traces he left in Milan.
Visit to Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece Last Supper, which represents one of the most important works of art of all times, together with an original visit guided by an actor at the Atellani house with the precious vineyard, that Ludovico il Moro gave Leonardo as a sign of gratitude for the fresco.
A toast with a glass of Malvasia di Candia Aromatica (the “wine of Leonardo”) will conclude the visit.
Meeting with the English speaking guide at Santa Maria delle Grazie and visit of Leonardo’s masterpiece “The Last Supper” in the refectory of the Church.
At the end of the visit, the group will be welcomed by Leonardo “himself” (a dressed up actor), who will take them to his “Vineyard” at the “Atellani House”. Dramatized tour of the Vineyard (30 minutes).
At the end of it, tasting of Leonardo’s wine, and toast with a glass of Malvasia di Candia Aromatica at the bistrot.
This wine comes from the castle in Luzzano, where it was possible to trace back to the kind of vineyard cultivated by Leonardo, thanks to the discovery of some organic material.
The visit will end with a walking guided tour up to the Sant’Ambrogio Cathedral, one of the symbols of the city or San Maurizio Church, also known as “the Sistine Chapel of Milan” because of its wonderful frescos.
